Teachers are the great influencers of the world. Their impact cannot be understated. For a teacher who spends years in the classroom, they can truly change a million lives. Shirley Hudgins Ammons is one of those very special teachers. She taught Bill Lovin at Red Springs High School. Like most teachers, she constantly dealt with changes in teaching requirements, technology and cultural evolution, learning and adapting as she went.
